Huntingdon - a great place to shop! Huntingdon Town Centre Partnership

What do we do?

The Partnership's aims are simple - to improve and promote Huntingdon and thereby attract more visitors, support existing businesses and pull in new businesses.

Projects are discussed and agreed upon with the aim of making the town centre:
  • Safe and secure
  • Easy to access, park and get around
  • Attractive and clean
  • An enjoyable, vibrant place to visit, encouraging people to visit and shop
  • An area where businesses want to invest
Other key aspects of the Partnership's work include:
  • Improving communication between all town centre organisations
  • Establishing sustainable funding to ensure the continued growth of the Partnership
  • Monitoring and evaluating the town centre's performance and health
We deliver on these objectives through three main Action Groups:
  • Marketing & Events/Communications
  • Access & Environment
  • Finance
The Safe and Secure agenda is dealt with through our partner organisation Huntingdonshire Business Against Crime (HBAC), which is a business crime reduction initiative set up by The Partnership in 2004.

The Partnership's membership scheme is thriving and growing. It provides businesses with a range of exclusive benefits and a one-stop service for any business that has an interest in the exciting development of Huntingdon Town Centre.
