How well are we doing?
Through Huntingdonshire District Council, the Partnership has access to information, which monitors and measures a range of key performance indicators giving a snapshot of the health of the town. This information is used to help create strategy, identify trends and highlight areas that are under-performing.
Members also benefit from regular presentations on the development of Huntingdon town centre from Huntingdonshire District Council's Head of Planning and from the key property developers in the area.
Monitoring the performance of the Partnership
Pedestrian footfall counts
As much of the Partnership's work is designed to encourage more people to visit the town centre, it monitors success in this area through commissioned annual footfall counts. This is particularly useful in Huntingdon where there has been major retail development over the last four years and in monitoring future development.
Customer perception surveys
These are commissioned every other year and serve as customer satisfaction surveys on areas such as:
- Range of shops and services
- Appearance of the town
- Car parking
- Ease of access
- Number of events and attractions within the town
- Crime and fear of crime
Copies of these reports are now available. Please email Katy Sismore at info@huntingdontowncentrepartnership.co.uk
Members' Surveys
The Partnership undertakes an annual members' survey in order to assess its strengths and weaknesses as an organisation. This also gives members the opportunity to comment on the benefits of membership and to suggest improvements.
New Membership
Above all else, one of the best indicators of our continued growth and success is the steady increase in the Partnership's membership.
Members of the Partnership have priority access to all the above information.
